Great Minds Think Alike

After playing around with the blogspot website this weekend, I got an interesting email from my sister, Susan, in Tennessee. She was sending me a link to a blog she has started to keep long distance family and friends updated with her life and the life of her family. Great minds (and sisters) really do think alike. I was unalbe to view her blog from school. I'm not sure if our web blocker allows this website to be viewed at school or not. I'll have to check that out a little more. I am still trying to learn how to include pictures, move stuff around, and how the whole blog thing works in general. I think it would be too cool to have a link on my page to my sister's page, and vice-versa.

Welcome

This is my first attempt at a blog. I thought it might be an easier way to keep you up-to-date about the goings on in our family. I have been inspired by a good friend who posts almost daily. Even though we both live in NW Arkansas, it's so fun to read her page and look at the pictures of her kids.

We are well into the swing of school now. It's hart to believe that it's almost October. We have a really busy schedule. I started graduate school this fall (more on that later) and have class on Monday afternoon/evening. Jacob plays soccer on Tuesdays, we have church on Wednesdays, and Samuel plays soccer on Thursdays. Both boys have Saturday games as well. Fortunately, soccer doesn't really last long, only a few more weeks in fact. I don't think I could up this pace all year.

Hannah had her tonsils out a few weeks ago. It was a really hard two weeks of recovery, but she is much better now. She goes to Montessori preschool during the day and is changing so quickly from my baby to a big girl. Both boys go to Vandergriff Elementary. Jacob is in 3rd grade, and Samuel is in kindergarten. They both really like their teachers, and the year seems off to a good start.
